Berkeley Resources is an ASX-listed company with
dominant license holding in Spain. (trading symbol: (ASX: BKY).
Its main asset is the Salamanca Project, Spain.

Berkeley has acquired a number of advanced uranium exploration projects
in Spain totaling approximately 450,000ha, covering all the main
historic uranium mining and exploration areas in the country.
- Berkeley is acquiring 90% of the assets of the Spanish State
uranium company – ENUSA –including:
- The Mina Fe plant and tenements
and all related data
- Plant previously permitted for
950tpa U3O8 (no crushing circuit)
- 45 Mlbs of advanced resources
(Non JORC but extensively drilled)
- Substantial exploration upside
- Berkeley has ~ 20 Mlbs JORC Resources in the same project area
for total project resource base of 65 Mlbs. Berkeley also has
a further 10 Mlbs (increasing) in other projects. Average grade
~500ppm.
Berkeley boasts an outstanding management team with considerable
uranium and general mining experience around the world.
The Company has also entered a Strategic Alliance with Areva NC
to explore and develop Berkeley’s uranium projects in Spain.
Areva NC is part of the Areva Group, one of the world’s leaders
in integrated nuclear energy solutions.
Spain is a country with a substantial domestic uranium demand and
a recent uranium mining history.
